Senior Actuary – Workers compensation

Taylor Fry’s Injury Schemes practice is growing, and we are committed to investing in this growth. Our Injury Schemes team has identified a need for a general insurance Senior Actuary with accident compensation experience, preferably in workers compensation.

Our Injury Schemes practice offers client-focused solutions to governments and self-insurers across Australia and New Zealand. We cater to a range of demands, from conventional liability valuations to full-service offerings, with a focus on advanced analytics. As a senior member of the Injury Schemes team, you can expect to support projects such as scheme design and reform analysis, claims triage, claim pathways analysis, valuations, pricing and portfolio monitoring, and other services that give schemes and large self-insurers insights into scheme dynamics.

Skills and experience
We are seeking candidates who have a minimum of 12 years’ experience gained in a consultancy or corporate environment, where the role required the cultivation and engagement of a strong network. Candidates will be Actuarial Fellows.
As Taylor Fry is a consultancy, it is imperative that candidates are strong communicators who have good interpersonal skills and are confident liaising with clients and identifying new opportunities.
